Trojan Horse

I feel as if we invented the notion of vampires as a spin off of humans. Vampires suck blood which is our very being but we humans suck energy which is our very soul. So tell which is better a vampire or human? What’s the difference there? Between being and soul. Blood or matter, energy or essence.

It’s sometimes hard to steer clear from that which drains you. Interactions, exchanges, relationships, it’s not always easy to keep up perseverance when they keep banging on your shield. Some come as a Trojan horse and catch you by surprise. Those who you think are most worthy have lies in their eyes. So all I can tell you is keep strength at foot, repel those suckers, away for good. No feasting today my soul is mine, my energy to give but never take. I can only find good fortune with my mind. Don’t let them grind you down to dust nor let them suck you till your rust. For you must never adjust to them but always keep up trust with you.
