Here's another for the books...

I feel as if I’ve been asleep since the age of 13, in a state of slumber as time races by. I feel as if you don’t get enough time to cherish important moments and that suddenly they are gone and your left with nothing but a faint memory of what you wished you could have lived longer. What you wished you could have experienced better if your eyes were more open to the perception of that moment, to the people in it, to the feelings, to let in all those emotions at once, making you feel really alive and human rather than in a blurry sleepy state with no recollection of certain parts of your life that you thought would last forever. Is it forgetfulness? Or just the fact that we are born in such a way that we live our whole life as if we were asleep, as if we weren’t conscious of the things happening around us, as if we were born ignorant, in to a world we destroy to benefit what we think our lives will be, what we all strive for, that one particular thing that makes you think this is worth being awake for, happiness! Or better yet, love! But shouldn’t these things that make us feel alive, make us feel awake, also make us live each moment as if we weren’t all living asleep? As if we were actually able to realize how susceptible the human race is to ignorance and obedience. How sucked into the system we are, so much so that it has drugged us into being asleep all the time with fake food and poisoned water, turning wants into needs with false advertising and training you to be acceptable to the society they have created by sending you to “learn”, when in fact you are being programmed to work the way they want you to, so you can be put into the ever growing capitalist society, but hide it by saying you are learning to aspire to greater things and to be happy. There it is, the final realisation, they train you to think that you can never be happy without being in such a society, without being in the system. They train you to think that the only way you can truly be happy is to have money and to gain such a thing as a piece of metal or paper or a digit on a screen, you must be inserted into the system. Have a think about that? Now tell me, do you think your free? Free to live? Free to be a human? Free to love and be kind as we were all born to be? They have us on a leash, and call it safety. They are in control of us and we obey, because they have trained us to think it’s the right thing. So, what I really want to say is.. WAKE THE FUCK UP!
